Friday on the blog is always all about the beautiful homes I've been crushing on recently, and every week I'll be running my Friday Faves - featuring a few of your beautiful homes plus some images I've been drawing inspiration from over the past few days.
This week I'm looking at bedrooms, and how the colours and schemes you choose in here can really make a difference - particularly as your bedroom should be the most calming and relaxing space within your home.

1. First up this week is the lovely @littlehouse_on_the_hill's bedroom - how inviting does this look?! I don't know how she ever gets out of bed! I'm seeing more and more of these gorgeous feature headboards about, and I love how the bluey-grey colour of this one seems to set the tone for the rest of the room, which looks so calm and relaxing.
2. I'm a huge fan of exposed brick, but never thought to use patterned wallpaper to create this effect - how wonderful does it look in @louise_rosexx's bedroom?! I love the neutral tones used here, and she's picked exactly the right amount of accessories too. I'm totally obsessed with those ladder shelves too - what a perfect little corner!
3. As I said last week, @missrebeccafaith has the most beautiful home - and her bedroom certainly doesn't disappoint! Again she's used monochrome colours to create a beautiful clean-looking colour palette, adding hints of grey and pink. I love the black & white photos above the bed too!
4. We have a bit of a problem with light on the far side of our house - so I'd kill for some glass doors like this in my bedroom! How amazing must it be to have a balcony like this in your room? The light in here is perfect, and means you can have a stunning deep colour like the one @renovation.x has chosen without fear of the room appearing too dark.
5. @carolinejsmith75 has such a lovely home with so many beautiful touches, which is clear in her bedroom here. I'm a huge fan of plain white bedding, as I think it can act as a neutral canvas for any scheme, so I love the touches of pink and yellow Caroline has used here. What a lovely area to get ready in the mornings too!
6. How beautiful is @oliviarose_x's chandelier?! It makes such a lovely feature in the room, and I love the fact she's used a mirror above the bed to bounce light all around the room. I'm a huge fan of a feature wall too, and love her choice of wallpaper, it really adds to the glam feel. I also think I can spy the same Ikea bedside tables we've got here too, but think Olivia might have changed the handles to something a bit more luxurious looking - I might have to pinch that idea!
7. I've been admiring @laurastrath's bedroom for a while, so I was really glad when I saw she had played along with the hashtag this week! The exposed brick in here looks absolutely stunning, and perfectly compliments the light and airy colour scheme she's gone for. I've actually just bought some very similar net-style curtains for our spare room, so I can't wait to get them up now after looking at how lovely they look here!
8. As a Cath Kidston fan, @soboid's bedroom is an absolute dream! I love the use of the pattern here, especially on the top of the dressing table - what a fab way to update a piece of furniture! I also really like the way she's set out her room, with the bed underneath the window - It must be lovely to lay in on a Sunday morning with the sun streaming in.
9. I've got this Laura Ashley wallpaper in a different colour as a feature wall in my bedroom too - but how stunning does it look in @mrsdawnrooney's room?! The colours are so beautiful, and are perfectly complemented with that gorgeous bed, and the light-coloured furnishings she's used throughout the rest of the room. Plus, is that Dawn's veil on the headboard?! What an amazing idea, mine's packed away in a box somewhere, I'd love to be able to admire it every day!
10, I absolutely love a nautical theme, so really like that @emma.jane.quinn has used this in her bedroom! You can always find seaside-themed accessories I think, and I love that Emma has included just the right amount of pieces here. The blue feature wall works really well against this too. This room reminds me of being on holiday!
11. How cosy does @myhome_nicola.x's bedroom look here? I bet she loves snuggling up in there! This is exactly why I'm such a big fan of a feature wall, as they can set the tone for the whole room, and make it so easy to accessorise with, exactly what Nicola has done here. The soft lighting really finishes the look off too, so relaxing!
12. Finally this week is @charlotterawling's lovely bedroom - how cute is her patchwork bedspread?! I love her brass bed too, perfect country cottage chic!
