Everybody from Laura Ashley was so lovely and welcoming, and it was really nice to get to meet some of their team in person. The show was for their new collections in both homeware and fashion, and I'm not exaggerating when I say everything was BEAUTIFUL. They've put together some amazing bits which really sum up exactly what I love about the spring and summer months - lots of colour and florals everywhere!
Homewares were separated into four main collections; Floral Heritage, Cool Blue, Park House and Natural by Design. First up there were a selection of bedrooms, including this absolutely beauty in pale shades of grey and pink:
The bedside table in this collection was styled to complete perfection - I totally NEED that little pink alarm clock!
This stunning pink and green room was slightly brighter in tone, but still so beautiful - how stunning is that armchair?
The hints of gold in this set-up finished the room off perfectly - there were so many little bits and pieces that would look good in any room.
There were also some lounge set-ups in complementary colours - how summery is this room?! I absolutely love the idea of wallpapering the top half of a wall like this, and although I'm not normally a fan of brighter shades, think this pink is just perfect for a seasonal design like this.
The accessories in this room were lovely too, lots of natural influences making appearances - including this amazing butterfly dome ornament!
The cool blue collection was definitely for those that prefer calmer tones, but with the butterfly theme continuing through here, still managed to keep hold of the lovely summery feel.
I think my favourite though was this stunning kitchen table set up:
How gorgeous are those bright colours?! Perfect for a summery breakfast. The accessories were absolutely stunning - gold twig-like style cutlery, and a sugar pot and toast rack to match. Absolutely in love with these bits!
Over in the fashion section, there seemed to be a continuation of the natural themes, with lots of bumblebees and butterflies featuring in the designs. I'm no fashion expert at all, but as you can see there were some gorgeous dresses here.
Not only did I get to have a sneak peek at all the pretty new pieces, I also got the chance to meet some of the lovely ladies whose blogs I absolutely love reading!
