Conservatories can often be quite impractical and hard to get right - I also use mine as a dining room, but find it can get too cold in the winter, so I love that Olivia has gone with carpet in here. I bet this makes it a really cosy room, and also means it feels and looks like more of a proper room. How gorgeous is the wooden features in here too? I absolutely love those beautiful doors.
The wooden features continue throughout the room with this absolutely stunning shelfie! I love the simplicity of the accessories Olivia's chosen too - those fairy lights finish it off perfectly.
Storage is always a problem for me, so I love the idea of hiding all those unsightly things in a lovely wooden box like this one - and its styled beautifully with that throw and cushions.
How lovely does this corner look? I can totally imagine curling up here with a book on a Sunday afternoon. I love those eucalyptus stems too, they add such a lovely touch of greenery.
I love the mix of bench seating and chairs here too - I bet this is the perfect place to entertain and have friends round for dinner. I adore the way she's styled the table too, just some simple blooms on that gorgeous tray - you can't go wrong with a bit of Emma Bridgewater can you?!
Thanks for reading, and thanks so much to the lovely Olivia for letting us have a nose around her favourite room. Have a look round the rest of her home over on Instagram here, and enter your home using the hashtag #dovecottagemyfaveroom - and I'll feature another inspirational room next week.
